Glorious glittered shell decorations ornaments

Our softly glittered holiday tree decorations do not rest for long.

Some of these beauties move to a large aqua bowl once summer comes.

It was formerly an urn but on a windy day two years ago something fell on it causing it to topple over.

I really like the light pink urchins,

 large finger starfish,

and the inside of this shell.

Who am I kidding?  I like them all.
That must be the reason we have over 150 of these glittered beauties alone.

Sea shells and sea life in general have always decorated the rooms of my abodes since I was a child.
To the point of being so over run, many of them were given away.

Those that remain all have a story to tell from their own vignette's.

Yet, these glittery shells somehow brighten the grayest of days every time they are removed from their boxes.

All they need is a tiny bit of light to glimmer.

They never fail to produce a smile...

They look beautiful tossed in a bowl, vase, or urn
hanging the window
on a table with place cards tucked in them
tied on a gift bag or box
they do wonders for brown or white kraft paper and foil gift wrap
 fabulous with burlap and linen
and of course add instant beach to a holiday tree.

I absolutely love sea shells and sea urchins...I find them to be so ethereal and insanely complex natural sculptures. I love this posting! This is my kind of Eye Candy.

Rita,
You need not ask to borrow anything of mine, what is mine is yours deary!!! you can take anything of mine you want :)
Tell your sweetie "let it find you" not to worry the best things in life always finds us :)

DID YOU NOTICE!! On my French chair is the PICTURE FRAME pieces you gifted to me!!

I wanted to blog where they came from, as well as come up with something more creative then what I did to my frame pieces! I have to admit that I have come attached to them in the simple beauty as they are.

I am still in awwww! with the beauty with in you to gift such wonderful salvaged pieces to ME!!!
I look at them daily, I know a bit obsessive... I can't help myself, do you think I need junk therapy :)

I will keep you posted on my mental health:)
your friend.

I love your shimmery shells. So pretty. The teal urn makes them really pop. I also like the fact that you still found a use for the urn after it toppled.

The aqua bowl, formerly known as an urn, is gorgeous and really shows off your beautiful shells. If you're like me, you smile every time you pass them by.

We made beach shell necklaces whiles at the beach for my grand-daughter. We had to search everyday for the perfect shell with the perfect little hole already in it. Pink ribbon and glitter made it extra special. I hope it is a memory she will always keep in her heart. I love that aqua urn. Glad you kept it and repurposed. xo Lynn
P.s. Yep...Belle and her sisters are doing fine. They have all kinds of play and drinking water around.

What a gorgeous collection of shells ;)
I used to collect rocks from the beach all the time when I was younger, my family and I would go out and find some of the most amazing rocks then take them home and lay them out all over our yard...it was so much fun, I miss doing that ;)
Happy weekend!

Rita,
They are so beautiful! I love them all :) Hope you're ok, my daughter got VERY sick from heat exhaustion/dehydration and it was awful! :( She will likely never let herself get dehydrated again.....(she was at camp...no mom....:{ )

No worries, just let me know when you're ready to think about stuff.
