New York Gift Fair spotlight on home decor

The New York Gift Fair is held twice a year.  Usually we go 2-3 days and still can't seem to manage stopping to see everything.  Put on your comfy shoes and talk a walk with us.

Are you ready?

We managed to get a lot of photos this year.
Some vendors do not allow photos of their designs.

As we walked I saw some things that reminded me of
other bloggers.  There are so many bloggers listing them all would
be an all night event so these are the first that popped into my mind.

This dog statue reminded me of La Dolfina's
and so did this

Couture De Papier's U.S. Coast Guard Cottage home
I agree with Red Ticking and The Shabby Garden spring can't
come soon enough. It is the weed pulling that never seems to end.
These might be a better choice.

Bright towels and pillows a la Anthropolgie style

The blue stands made me think of Simple Daisy's dining room

This made me think of Shorely Chic

This large mirror surrounded by these little shelves was striking in person

Come on. Keep walking...

Trina Turk offers pillows now

Feeling overwhelmed?

I wouldn't have minded sitting in this cart and being pushed around.

A chair for Ticking and Toile

Numbers for Itsy bits and pieces and memo racks for White Wispers to you

The photograph doesn't due justice to these hand towels.
There is so much to see...

Sandy starfish and huge sewing scissors for Shore House Chic

Really soft organic cotton pillow covers

French Larkspur  bottle rack and lettered settee

We stumbled upon this devine ribbon lover's delight on
our way to another vendor. Beautiful ribbons made of silk velvets,
tafetta, cottons, burlap, plain fine soft silks, grosgain, organza...
There were solids, polka dots and stripes....
I could have stayed there for a few hours.

These matches are so pretty for lighting candles.
I have the seahorse and starfish ones on the buffet table.

Flags for Rue-Mouffetard
Whew!  Are you tired?  I'm tired

Just two more minutes to go

Not up to putting on a party dress?
We aren't either...

Upcoming post: Kim Seybert's tabletop.

Thanks for walking with us.  Hope your feet don't hurt too bad.

Good Night!

Thank you ever so much for sharing this experience! I went to the gift fair around 1995 and I swore I'd never do it again, it was so expensive and exhausting! Great pics, great blog.
