Baby's first boat

I about flipped when I saw these baby boat cradles from Beaver Boat Works. Aren't they darling!

Built by hand in Texas as a true ship's tender.
This one is cypress planks on mahogany, but you can order other woods.
Eco friendly finishes available too.

Davit style suspension system allows for rocking your little one to sleep.

Custom bedding is available for extra comfort.

Now you might be thinking well little ones will grow out of it so quickly.

Don't worry this ship is built to take on more serious tasks.
Like being converted into a rocker or my favorite,

a wagon!

Can you imagine pulling this around the block?

And after that you can always make into a coffee table.

This would be neat in adult size wouldn't it?  So much cooler then a hammock.

Thanks for stopping by everyone.

What a find!!!! Isn't there a common phrase, "rock the boat, baby," part of a song or something? Boats and rocking go hand in hand! This is an ingenious invention and it should SELL WELL!

Ooooh!! Rita,
I just adore them. I have seen them by different companies at the buyers marts for interior designers.

I would so have one if I were living on the water and had a young one.

There are so many cute things to design with, and I would so get wrapped up with all the latest trends to work into our passion for home decor.

I will see you soon keep inspiring us all :)

They are darling!
I just love the wagon. I'm sure if you pull your kids around the block in a wagon like that you will earn some attention. LOL
If they were available in adult size I'm sure my hubby would order one and throw his good old hammock away.

Hi Rita-

This boat is so cute, what a clever idea. I am thinking the baby might get a little seasick :) hee hee. It is all snowy here and seeing this little boat is reminding me relaxing while laying in an open row boat bobbin up and down with the sun warming my skin. Thinking of this scenario is getting me through this winter.
My best- Diane
