Waiting for sunset at the beach.

My dearly beloved swears I will take a photo of just about anything.  While waiting for the sun to begin to set I did exactly that.

Evidence man's best friend had paid a visit.

Even my sandals are not safe from the camera lens.

I'm practicing for the new camera, sweetie.

Bored, my DB left me to snap away.

Around here flying the American flag is a must.

I seem to take a decent amount of photos of the
dune fencing, summer or winter.
They just seem to make for interesting pictures.

Almost there.

Worth the wait.

Summer has just sailed on by hasn't it?

Have a great week everyone.

Oh my, thank you for this beauty. One thing we don't have at our beaches is dune fencing...sigh...so I can't get enough of yours.

Love your cutie patootie sandles too...and all those american flags waving in the ocean breeze is a symbol of hope for our nation.

Do you use photoshop? How do you get that soft pastel look to your photos?

Rita,
Those were absolutely beautiful photos...
I so enjoyed them. Loved the one of your DB walking off in the distance.
Your new spoon design is great. I'm off to check your etsy to see if it's available. Love ships - great design. You are so talented.
Happy to see you pulled yourself away from your orders to go and take these beautiful photos.
Wish I were there....

You have a wonderful eye for sweet little vignettes. So autumn is on its way? Could be a good break and maybe hurricanes won't be all that fierce this year?......

Hi Rita
Thanks for the message... this move has been frustrating for me on so many levels... in fact I hate to admit it.. but I am yet to find the good points...

I wonder if my blog issues are related to my internet.. or that I changed my html to a 3 column layout and perhaps mucked up the code .. hmmm.. must try to fix it... Thanks again.. xxx Julie

Oh, Rita.....these photos are just gorgeous. I think the first one could very well be framed! So pretty. So nostalgic now that summer is slowly fading into our memories. So sad....So I will return to look at your photos again and hang on to August as long as I can. :)

LOVE the dune fencing! Especially the shot of the sunset through highlight through the windswept leaning pickets. We don't have dune fencing here, and I do agree with you, very beautiful in its' own unique way! Thanks for sharing -
