My head was spinning with the possibilities of all these neat things and fabrics that could be turned into all sorts of things, shades, curtains, chair coverings, outdoor cushions, enclosures, totes….you name it.

Christmas stockings that ended up with a production backlog.
Totes for the market.
Last, but not least a wine bag. This one has recycled cording. Making totes out of sails is not new. Freinds are supportive of the fun touches and fabric combinations I’ve been dreaming up. Some ideas have worked and others failed. In any case I'm moving along hoping they will be well received so please leave a comment or suggestion and let me know what you think.

I think the shopping bags are an excellent idea considering how strong the fabric must be. The stockings must be a big hit with friends and family that sail, love the beach, etc. I look forward to reading more of your ideas.
