A few final blooms.

Earlier in the week I was writing about Christmas decorations and today I'm holding onto summer with a few final blooms from some of our rose bushes.

Here they are captured in the late afternoon sun

No editing other then resizing and adding text.

I liked how the sun highlighted the petals

So to all of you where summer is just beginning
I appreciate photos of your roses

because it's Mum season here.

You know I can never tire of seeing roses. They are beauty. Rain is finally coming to us so it feels a bit more like Autumn. Though Tuesday before I got sick I was swimming and it felt like summer still...I even got tan!

Your roses look so pretty. I just noticed I have a few new buds. They are small but I'm hoping to welcome a few last roses. We had rain all week so it is beginning to feel like fall here.
Your pictures are so pretty!

I would hold on to the beauty like this too.:-) I have several rose bushes in my garden and all of them are still blossoming. I think Fall colors have very rich pallet to them as is, but add to it splashes of pale pink or ruby red and the Fall becomes breathtaking!:-)
