Bathroom tea set

When you have teeny tiny alleged master bathroom
that is smaller then most yachts
and
it's 1940's pink from the floor to the tiled walls

You find yourself looking for eye catching accessories while you
dream it's actually blinding white on white with a navy blue floor.

I was told this is called a "melon" style.

Usually, I would have walked away based on the condition,
but its shape was so different from anything in my collection.

The sugar and creamer are quite large compared to all the others.

Cotton cosmetic pads, makeup brushes and hair brushes
have a found a new home.
It's now the first thing I see. Thank goodness!

That is a stellar idea! And I can relate to the master bath size - the closet is bigger!

I love it! It is so very elegant and holds so many possibilities!I have to say that bathroom would probably be the last place I would put it in simply because I think it should be display somewhere where you can see it and admire its beauty, although I have to admit that the idea of placing it in the bathroom sounds really fun!I could hold my lipsticks in the tea pot!:-) How great is this!:-))))

OOOH.. I love these Rita.. I'm such a sucker for vintage silver.. and the condition wouldn't have bothered me at all.. At least you won't have to worry about the salt air causing tarnish.. ciao xxx Julie

I have recently found your blog - Love anyone with a beach blog since I live in a beach community in a LA a few houses from the strand. I'm addicted to tea pots. I actually buy them and keep them unpolished. I lined them up on my fire place and use them all year round for entertaining. I use them for most of my table settings with tulips, hydrangeas, etc. They always look amazing. I think cotton pads and brushes are perfect. Great find and adorable site :)
