Stamping silverware started so simply but has managed to change the course of the one I originally charted of beach inspired stamped jewelry, paper goods and recycled sail items etc., etc. I hope to be doing those things again next year but, in the meantime here are a few items that were suggested by and/or inspired by fellow bloggers.
Silverware Ornaments
I know it's kind of late on one hand for the Christmas ornaments, but most can be used year round for all sorts of occasions.
Bottle tags or ornaments
These can be personalized with names or table numbers too.
Fun for a wedding or party.
Just think of not having to buy or write out a name gift tag again.
All of the ornaments and tags are items that have already been recycled into something new and can be passed along to be used again and again without the guilt of re-gifting.
Cheese marker forks
These little suckers looked so unassuming and easy instead of the reality of labor intensive. A convexly curved object needs a way to be perched while trying to not damage the tines and doesn't exactly sit still in the process.
Saw the handle off and file the tops and then re-shape if needed.
Also available personalized up to six letters sometimes seven
Now for the giveaway part.
Open to U.S. residents
You don't have to be a follower or become one, but no anonymous comments.
Simply leave a comment which silverware ornament/gift tag you like best
and if you got one would you pass it along or keep it?
Ends December 13, 2010

those are really truly beautiful. So hard to pick! I love the cheese ones because they are very useful and unique and I LOVE cheese. I would probably keep these if I had them. The other tag ones are gorgeous and I could see passing those on but to someone very special. I love the starfish and the simple messages like thank you. I would def put it on a wine bottle and use as a hostess gift.
Thanks for your nice comments on my blog today!
Rita~
Your cheese markers are adorable! What a wonderful giveaway and thank you for including my paper clay hearts!

Hi Rita-
I like the Merry Christmas wine bottle spoon. It would be a hit if I gave a bottle of wine to a friend with this on, but I think I would keep it for myself and use it as a tree ornament.
My best- Diane
O, for me it's the Merlot bottle tag...I'd keep it and use it for every gathering of friends...I can hear them saying, "Where did you get that?!!!!"
I have fallen head over heels for those silver tags! I luv the "love" one the best ~ and would give it to my hubby for Christmas to hang from his rearview mirror in his truck. :)
Thank you for this great holiday giveaway! :)
xoxo laurie
Just had to add that I adore the "By the sea" tag because it reminds me of my fav Anne Morrow Lindbergh book "Gift from the Sea"..... :)
xoxo laurie

You amaze me, I know so well how time intensive they are to create with trying my hand at them. I cannot believe you have created all this amazing beauty, and so personal to the one who would purchase such pieces from you or the chance at a gifted GiveAway from your hands to another.
Rita, your GiveAway will be treasured by who ever wins.
A true Congrats to the winner of Rita's art pieces.

My goodness, this post is absolutely lovely with the beachy colors. Christmas is not contained to just the traditions of red or green, but is global and so accessible to those who want it. Yes, faith, hope and love are not always wrapped in a "magical" present, but once opened, can result in some of the most extraordinary experiences of our lives! THANK YOU FOR COMING and may all these three gifts be yours ALWAYS! Have a wonderful Sunday, Anita
How adoralbe... I just love the idea. The cheese forks are the best....tell your secret for engraving the words
I love the starfish and the spoon that says "by the sea".... my very favorite place to be. You've done a wonderful job on them.... LOVE it.
Love those little hearts too. Please throw me into the hat. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. ....hoping to win.. I seem to have lost my mo-jo in the winning scene. :-)
Warm blessings,
Spencer
These are just darling. Love the starfish one!
I love them all but it is a toss up between "By the Sea" and "Ahoy" I like the "By the Sea" because of the cute little starfish and "Ahoy" is so good because of the neat rope tied on it.
I think if I was stranded on a desert island I would have to go with "Ahoy" and I would definately keep it!
Am I to late? Oh well, I love the cheese forks! But truly they are all unique! Just wonderful!
I really like the starfish too though!
I am always a slacker, thinking I have more time, where does it go!
Good luck to all,
Lisa

Love, love, LOVE IT ALL! And guess what else I love? Your new picture on the front of your blog. So gorgeous!! What kind of camera do you have? Because I'm going to sit on Santa's lap and refuse to get off until he agrees to bring me one. Trust me, when he feels his leg bones snapping he'll give in. :) Hope you're having a wonderful holiday season!
Wow Rita look at all those entrants...wish i was in the US or atleast visiting. Good luck all, such a great giveaway, cheers Katherine
Merry Christmas, Rita! xo
Those tags are so lovely! And I would have to agree with how challenging it can be to engrave curved forks. Enjoy the holidays, Kellie xx
Your blog is pure inspiration!
Where do I start, hummmm.
Thank you for your nice words
concerning my 100 year old grandfather,
he too was an inspiration.
I am writing from the wintery north
and the beach looks so inviting.
Happy 2011!
Kelley
